A Style All Your Own

If you have an unusually shaped room Hartley Wood Interiors specialise in manufacturing woodwork that will fill the space available and be functional yet stylish and individual.

Kitchen

A wide range of kitchens is available with a variety of styles and finishes to choose from and granite or solid wood worktops a speciality. A complete fitting service is carried out together with associated electrical and plumbing work.

Study

Home studies with computer desks, book and display shelves in solid wood finishes are designed to make maximum use of available space.

Bedroom

Fitted bedroom furniture with co-ordinating items such as headboards, framed mirrors and radiator screens all made to match.

How We Work With Customers

The start of the process of choosing new fitted furniture commences with either a visit by the prospective customer to our showrooms or a home visit. This initial meeting is to discuss the customer's requirements in some depth and it usually takes about 2½ hours to discuss the merits of various approaches and formulate ideas.

Our role at this stage is primarily to LISTEN to the customer - the customer defines the requirements, we provide advice and guidance where appropriate.

All design work is personally undertaken by Mike Hughes as part of our philosophy of providing a truly bespoke and individual design service. We provide a no-charge quotation service and the customer is provided with a copy of the proposed design plans prior to signing a contract.

Once we have established the customer's primary requirements we adopt the following process and sequence of events.

1	Detailed design work commences and client requirements are costed in detail.

2	Once the design is completed a quotation is prepared and personally presented to the client.

3	When the client has had sufficient time to study the quotation a second meeting is arranged to develop the design further.


4	Manufacturing of the customers order commences following agreement on the design and acceptance of the quotation.

5	A mutually acceptable date for installation and fitting is scheduled.

The time period from customer acceptance to completion of the installation is usually between 8 and 10 weeks.

We can also supply appliances if required. In this activity we offer a freelance service and are truly independent of any specific manufacturer.

Target Customers

We appreciate that our customers are as individual as the service we provide and tend to be discerning people for whom design and quality outweigh considerations of cost.

Our customers are people who do not want 'off-the-shelf' or 'pre-packaged' designs, they are people who value individuality, exclusivity and quality.
