Interior FAQs
Do I need an interior designer?
If you’re unsure how to bring your ideas together, don’t have time to manage trades, or want to avoid costly mistakes, then yes — a designer can save you stress, time and money. We help you make clear, confident choices and ensure your space not only looks beautiful but works perfectly for your lifestyle.
What areas do you cover?
We’re based in Northamptonshire and work across the surrounding counties, including Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire, Bedfordshire and the wider Midlands. For larger or special projects, we’re happy to travel further — or work remotely where possible.
How does the design process work?
Our process has three stages:
- Discover & Brief — We visit your space (or meet online) to discuss your goals, budget and style.
- Design & Specify — We create layouts, mood boards, materials and drawings for your approval.
- Deliver & Install — Once everything’s signed off, we manage procurement and installation to bring the design to life.
You stay informed and in control at every stage.
Can you work with my existing furniture or contractors?
Absolutely. We can design around pieces you already love, and we’re happy to collaborate with your preferred builders or trades. Our goal is to make the process as seamless as possible.
What types of projects do you take on?
From single-room redesigns to full-home refurbishments — and small commercial spaces too. Whether you need help rethinking a layout, selecting finishes or styling your entire home, we tailor our service to suit your needs and scale. From organising a skip hire company to hanging the last piece of wallpaper, we will organise your project from concept to completion.
How much does interior design cost?
Every project is unique, so we provide a clear, tailored quote after your initial consultation. Some clients prefer fixed-fee design packages, while others work with us on a per-room or hourly basis. We’re always transparent about costs before any work begins.
How long will my project take?
Timelines depend on the project’s size and complexity. A single room design might take a few weeks; full-home projects can span several months. We’ll give you a clear schedule up front and keep you updated throughout.
Do you offer consultations only?
Yes, we offer standalone consultations if you’d like professional input without a full design service. It’s ideal for quick advice, layout suggestions or a second opinion before you start a project.
How do I get started?
Simply book a free introductory call or send us an email with your project details. We’ll talk through your space, goals and timelines, and suggest the best way to begin.
