This house has been up for 15 years and it is still considered to be a modern, spacious, well proportioned 4 bedrommed executive detached. . . .  At one time our family would have scoffed at the very thought of being able to live in a very attractive estate like this, and even more so in one of these very houses.   We were brought up in the era when each improvement to family living had to be earned and worked towards.  It was not something that you took for granted.   It amazes me when idling for a few moments watching the daytime lifestyle programmes – on the escape the ratrace programmes or the houses bought at auction rebuild.   They show what can be achieved within budgets by using an astute interior design team and working together within an agreed budget and timescale. The latter is often difficult for the amateur to achieve without a professional eye for costings and contingency planning!
