When you move into a new house, one that you have been waiting to be finished and is spanking brand new and clean, it is the most exciting time of all. I have had this pleasure a few times – mostly with my parents but my current house is one such pleasure to behold. For weeks beforehand you are in a state of limbo, unable to make a decision on what furniture and curtaining – should it all match or go contemporary and have mismatched for a while. . . . and in the bedrooms, are there going to be enough wardrobes and dressing tables, chests of drawers etc. You can’t on with ordering anything until you have access to the house and that won’t be until the actual completion date. Buying up front can be foolhardy, there is no guarantee that the house sale will actually go through to completion unfortunately. But designs on the house can be dreamed of on weekly visits.
