We have a wonderful selection of houses in my immediate neighbourhood.  Some are of the 1920s style, one or two are even safely of the art deco sector in that group.  The rest are very much a mix of mid Victorian upwards.  There are none that really stand out as old and worth a second glance.   So we think.  But each house has it’s own individual virtues.  One man’s 1920 bungalow will be another man’s 2017 dream, ripe for conversion and updating.

When a project is on the go, one of the most important factors is getting the right interior designer in at the beginning.  It takes time to get to know the design team, and they need time to really talk to the householder to get a serious grip on what their hopes are and what of these grand expectations is going to be a realistic achievement – budgetary factory usually governing the final outcome of course.
