I know a young couple who have a business selling second hand household goods & furniture.  Currently they work online but business has been so brisk that premises have been acquired to expand! They deal with nice makes, Ercol and G Plan –  there is quite a market for these really classy makes and they carefully look out genuine articles and refurbish them to good working order.  Not everyone can afford to buy good quality items when they are just starting out with a flat, but later on they can splash out a little to get something that is unusual, quirky or just spectacularly beautiful.

Their premises will be in the back end of an old auction house – it doesn’t have a lot of kerb appeal at the moment but a design team has been brought in to address that, and to make the most of the airy loftspace – bringing class in at the very beginning!
