We use the phrase Interior Design a lot these days. What exactly does it mean? Is it the design of the ready made furniture and furnishings that we place artfully around our magnificent homes? Is it the immediate furniture that we see upon entering the main rooms – how that art deco sideboard displayed so effectively against the inner wall, in daylight bu definitely not direct sunlight . . . And how about the placement of that gorgeous leather seven seater sofa that has reclining end seats and a movememnt that is so fine and elegant In fact, the seating is quite spectacular, with the lounge offering ample views out of the patio doors across the back garden and over the field towards a neighbouring village. The view of the borders show smaller number of designs with a lot of repeating. Smalle groups of plants asre placed near each other with bigger speciments of something else in between. This is the professional way of catcing the eye!
