Consulting Interior Design Experts Brings Miracle Home Ideas

What exactly do we mean by interior design – is it how we place the furniture around the house, ensuring the cabinets all match and the sofa is in the right position to be able to chat amongst ourselves whilst still all being able to view the TV when we want . . . .      In the great scheme of things, these points do have to be addressed but essentially design is these days very much more concerned with the space available, where the windows are, do they allow maximum, light and warmth to come in;  does the flow of the room help to keep footfall to a minimum and make efficient use of every square millimetre of wall, floor and space available.   Most family houses will have some design fault for the family – that dark little corner where you can’t fit a decent sized chair or cabinet.   How about that pokey little understairs cupboard with no room for a good shelving system . . .  most of these house the spare fold-up chairs and pictures that don’t fit in anywhere.

Having an interior designer come and look at the house, the existing uses, the family using it and taking into account all the ‘what would you like added’ variables can seem terrifying but so worth asking.  It is amazing how many fantastic ideas come about from that first consultation!
